"Balance between our innate five senses and things around us, is very vital in product making. To understand the delicate balance between Nature and Wisdom in our daily lives from our ancestors, is to live naturally along the guiding path towards our future."
- Toshiyuki Kita
The versatile Dodo recliner converts from a reading chair to a chaise longue, conveniently catering to contemporary needs, like home office and home theater. An armchair that anticipates modern times: flexible, transformable and suitable for different needs. The swivel seat on a fixed base is characterized by multiple inclinations until it extends almost completely to be used as a bed.
Dodo won the 1999 Good Design Award and is featured in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Saint-Etienne, France.
