Eero Saarinen
Eero Saarinen was famous for varying his style according to the demands of the project. Saarinen studied sculpture in Paris and later Architecture at Yale. He founded his office in 1950 and his first success was the Tulip Chair produced by Knoll.
Knoll has remained true to the Bauhaus design philosophy that modern furniture should complement architectural space and not compete with it. At Knoll modern design has been a passion that has resulted in ground breaking modern furniture.
