Strand+Hvass is a design firm based in Copenhagen. Founded in 1998, the firm is run by Christina Strand, MDD. and Niels Hvass, MAA. Strand+Hvass began working for Tranekaer Furniture in 1999, and have created a number of pieces for the company. The duo brings their own stringent aesthetic approach to the design of modern furniture. While the results of this approach are richly diverse, they all share an unswerving dedication to simplicity, a view of the whole, and an eye to detail.
