Classicon
The German company ClassiCon began by making the works of Eileen Gray available for sale. Gray was a contemporary of Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe who created furniture from chrome, tubular steel, and glass. She is known for avant-garde classics such as the “Monte Carlo” sofa and the “E1027” adjustable table. ClassiCon also worked early on with designer Eckart Muthesius, and continues to find young designers whose work meets their high standard of quality, such as Konstantin Grcic, to foster collaboration while introducing their work to the marketplace. While maintaining the early Modern classics that gave them their start, ClassiCon also believes in creating the classics of tomorrow.
