parentesit square modular acoustic panel
by Altherr & Molina Lievore, from Arper
parentesit square modular acoustic panel
Design Lievore Altherr Molina, 2015
Acoustic wall module
Made in Italy by Arper
Parentesit offers comfort for contemporary shared spaces. A private space when you need it for collaboration or independent thinking, Parentesit is an acoustic wall module that reduces extraneous background noise and creates a space for concentration. The bold, graphic forms are available in three shapes - a circle, a square or an oval - that speak to diverse environments and can be further customized. These geometric forms can stand-alone or be paired together for greater impact. The signature and elemental shapes of Parentesit complement Arper's clean, minimal language to create a visual element that is as functional as it is modern.
Parentesit Wall Panels are a collection of decorative modular acoustic panels available in a round, square or oval shape. The square module has a horizontal insert and can be upholstered in one or two colors. When choosing the two color options, it is advisable to select the different colors within one fabric type. If needed, please contact us for specific data on Sound Absorption Area per each type of panel. Please call the hive showroom with any questions: 1-866-663-4483.
parentesit square module: 37.4" w | 2.75" d | 37.4" h

Altherr & Molina Lievore
Lievore, Altherr, & Molina was created in 1991 by the merging of its three experienced designer partners: Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr, and Manel Molina. This prolific design group has designed products for Arper and is also known for interior design, and packaging. Beyond their own design, the studio deals in the consulting and art direction of various companies, always offering customized solutions. They extend this knowledge into a dedicated teaching practice too, offering seminars and training to new professionals through universities.
Arper's origins are of a leather workshop founded by Luigi Feltrin, the company President. His passion, supported by innovations from his sons Mauro and Claudio, give Arper their distinct place in the design world. The company's scale grew in the late 1990's when they began using new materials and technologies, as well as due to a collaboration with the firm Lievore Altherr Molina. Among the classics that came from this collaboration is the Catifa chairs, which are available in 5 different versions and have sold over a million units since 2001. Today, Arper's policy is focused on environmental quality and sustainability, while using low-emitting recyclables.
