Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry (b. 1929, Toronto) has been described as the “most important architect of our age” by Vanity Fair, and his buildings are among the most recognizable in the world. His best-known works include the masterful Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, the vibrant and playful MIT Stata Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the elegant Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles, and the colorful and psychedelic Experience Music Project in Seattle. Nearly all of his buildings attract tourists and demand attention with their unique and unusual forms.
Heller has created a simple paradigm: good design, industrial production and reasonable prices. The company’s very first product line, in 1971, was Massimo Vignelli’s stacking dinnerware that went on to win a Compasso d’Oro award and is included in the MoMA permanent design collection. They rolled out their furniture line in 1998, beginning with the Bellini Chair, designed by Mario Bellini. It also claimed a Compasso d’Oro. Bellini designed more noteworthy chairs: The UltraBellini Chair (2006), the MB 1, MB 2 and MB 5. Heller continues to explore new technologies in furniture manufacturing.

Frank Gerry Bench
Jane, more than a month ago.
This is a fun piece of furniture, but it wobbles on the bottom, items on top wobble and 2 of the top end joints are dangerously sharp.
I feel that 5 minutes of clean up at the manufacturer would have made me a much much happier customer.
I suspect Frank Gerry would be appalled at the lack of attention to detail.
