57t is a single glass pendant used with the table light hardware, which includes an integral dimming system housed within a sleek cylinder. The black fabric cord is semi-rigid and may be sculpted to add form.
The 57 series explores a unique glassblowing technique that inflates and collapses bubbles within molten glass, resulting in sculptural, abstract forms. Each piece captures fluidity in solid form, with deep folds and shifting surfaces that refract light in unexpected ways.
Air pockets are suspended within layers of clear and semi-transparent glass, creating a dynamic contrast between light and dark. When turned off, the pendants appear as dark, solid shapes; when illuminated, they reveal intricate inner structures. The 57 series embraces the unpredictability of the process, where the making itself shapes each distinctive piece.
