14p Portable Table Lamp
by Omer Arbel from Bocci
14p portable table lamp
Design Omer Arbel
Cast glass, blown borosilicate glass
Made in Vancouver BC by Bocci
14p transforms Bocci's iconic 14 Series, first launched in 2005, into a portable, candle-like table light. The lamp is composed of two poured-glass hemispheres, which touch along imprecise edges. A low-voltage LED bulb sits inside the wireless pendant, casting 14's signature pool of rippled light wherever a candle-like glow is desired. The touch-controlled dimmer steps through three ambient lighting levels.
14p is USB-C compatible and reaches a full charge in 45 minutes, lasting from 8 hours (brightest setting) up to 80 hours (lowest setting).
Bocci is a world-renowned contemporary design studio and manufacturing house that has revolutionized the intersection of art, lighting, and material science. Founded in 2005 in Vancouver by designer Omer Arbel and entrepreneur Randy Bishop, the studio operates under a core philosophy where the manufacturing process itself dictates the final artistic form. Rather than forcing materials into pre-determined geometric shapes, Bocci designs open-ended fabrication systems that allow molten glass, ceramics, and metals to respond to their inherent physical properties. This creates a portfolio of organic, sculptural objects defined by "controlled happenstance"
4" diameter | 4" h | bulb: 1x integrated LED (2500K - dimmable - IP55)
