A carved solid wood frame is used to suspend the seat and back cushions. An organic stitching pattern accentuates the softness and shape of each cushion. The plush seat and back cushions made of multi-density foam provide maximum comfort. Stylistically bridging the gap between home, hospitality, and corporate spaces. Ravel combines traditional wood craftsmanship with precise upholstery detailing.
Recognized as one of the most influential European designers today, Claudio Bellini lives and works in Milan where he graduated in Architecture and Industrial Design at the renowned Politecnico di Milano university in 1990. Early in his career, Bellini collaborated at Mario Bellini Associati, participating in many types of projects and competitions in architecture and design internationally. He founded the design studio Atelier Bellini in 1996 with a focused interest and original approach to the relationship between new technologies and creative processes.
Today, his studio Claudio Bellini Design is active within several fields of design, ranging from furniture and product design to architecture, and partners with leading companies worldwide. Many of the studio's creations have received international design awards, including the prestigious Red Dot, IF, and Good Design Awards.
Ravel Lounge is available in solid walnut or solid ash with choice of upholstery. The Ravel Collection also includes a 3 Seat Sofa.
