koyoo portable table lamp
Design Axel Schmid, 2018
Paper, wire, aluminum
Made in Germany by Ingo Maurer
Koyoo is a small, portable light object. Held only by a wire spring, a bright circle floats above a narrow, black base.
The paper sheet can be replaced with other reflecting materials, such as decorative leafs or even colored foil. It's a perfect little lamp for lots of pleasant moments, whether you unwind alone with an inspiring book or having a glass of wine on the balcony in summer.
The LED light source is integrated into the base and illuminates the circle perfectly. When used on a table, the illuminated paper shade is below eye level, creating a very pleasant, relaxing light for pleasant moments. With three different paper shades (diameter 6.9"), three brightness levels can be set with a push-button. With a fully charged battery, cordless operation is possible for 5 / 10 / 36 hours, depending on the brightness level.
3.9" w | 13.4" h | bulb: integrated 2.2w LED (240 lumens / 3000K)
