Blu Dot's goal with Keeps was to create a minimal solid wood table that celebrated the beauty of the material. Graceful, chamfered edges soften the silhouette, while exposing the grain of the wood. They also make the table ends more inviting - allowing two people to squeeze in without bumping into anything. They carried this subtle angled detail to the inside of the legs, bringing the top and base together. Wood is often shipped overseas, sometimes causing it to bow or split. They worked with a manufacturer in nearby Wisconsin to make sure the wood looked good from start to finish.
