trip deckchair monochrome

Design Jose A. Gandia-Blasco Canales
Thermo-lacquered aluminum, plastic fabric
Made in Spain by Gandiablasco

This reclining and lightweight chair is the best company for a relaxing day outdoors. With its comfortable headrest cushion and three different positions, disconnecting from the rest of the world is ensured. You can take it to the beach or the countryside, place it next to the pool or on a terrace, or even an urban balcony. It is the perfect chair to rest, read or clear your mind while looking at the horizon.

This chair is very light and holds up perfectly to the elements thanks to its tubular structure made of aluminum and its special outdoor plastic sling. It is the perfect companion for a day trip to the beach or a natural environment, or as a permanent fixture for your outdoor space. This reclining chair allows for three positions - 110°, 115° and 120° - so it can adapt to the situation, depending on the moment of the day.

This is the monochromatic version, in which the sling and frame are the same color. The chair is also available in a two-tone option, with a white frame and a contrasting color sling. Trip features soft rounded shapes, thanks to its tubular aluminum structure. If you prefer a more rectilinear profile, check out our Picnic.

Gandia Blasco began as a family business in 1941, manufacturing blankets before becoming known primarily for their outdoor furniture. Located outside Valencia and managed by Jos3 Gandia-Blasco (father of Jose Antonio, current company president), the company mainly employed people from neighboring towns and remained in the blanket business until the mid 1980's. International competition pushed them to modernize, and they did so by expanding into the carpet and textile markets. Their success with outdoor furniture came when Jose Antonio was furnishing his home and developed the "Na Xemena"? line with the house's architect, Ramon Esteve. This collection popularized the company and caused a change in approach and philosophy to combine comfort with functionality and aesthetic integrity.
