This classic rocking chair encompasses a double bow seat back, central slat and eight turned spindles, all features which are characteristically Ercolani. Upward turned armrests extending from the central bow and supported by three spindles provide added comfort. The solid ash oyster shaped seat fixes the legs into place. The rockers create a perfectly balanced smooth movement. This rocking chair is the perfect addition to any living room, of contemporary or traditional decor.
A feature of this dining chair is the classic Windsor wedge joint, where the leg of the chair goes right through the seat; a wedge is then inserted into a cut in the leg, forming a remarkably strong joint. Sanded off flush with the seat, the joint then provides a beautiful design element.
The Chairmakers rocking chair can be specified in natural finished Ash wood or in a range of environmentally friendly water based stains to fit in with your style and decor. Also available as a chair.
