utility armchair
Design Lucian Ercolani, 1957
Ash wood
Made in the UK by L. Ercolani
This distinctive Windsor dining arm chair combines strength and durability with classic elegance. Armrests provide added support so that you can enjoy your dinner in absolute comfort, whilst the contouring to the seat gives added comfort. The chair bow is steam bent from a single straight ash rail and then sanded and shaped to give its subtle and elegant profile.
Traditional wedge joints, where the legs come right through the seat and a wedge is then inserted into a cut, before the leg stump is hand sanded flush with the seat, both provide a lovely design detail and a very strong joint. Further strength is provided by the H-underframe.
This Utility dining room chair can be specified in natural finished Ash wood or in a range of environmentally friendly water based stains to fit in with your style and decor.
25.25" w | 21.75" d | 36.25" h | seat: 17.75" h
