The Pre chair is a new take on an old idea. It is modeled on a traditional slipper chair, but it has been integrated into the "turn" series with its 360 degree smooth swivel mechanism and under-cut base. A perfect little chair for any space thanks to its crisp and charming presence.
Frame: Flexible polyurethane body with structural metal frame
Seat cushion: Multi-density structural foam
Swivel base: Powder-coated thick metal base

Niels Bendtsen
Bendtsen gained skills & respect for hand-built traditions as an apprentice and was interested in new technologies. Early career, Bendtsen had a showroom selling imported Scandinavian designs where he designed in-house items, evolved into furniture design and then the Bensen brand.
The Bensen philosophy balances simplicity and honesty. Designer Niels Bendtsen trained as an apprentice with his father building Scandinavian furniture and gained skills & respect for hand built traditions.
