coat tree wall mount coat rack
from Fritz Hansen
coat tree wall mount coat rack
Design Sidse Werner, 1971
Powder-coated steel, plastic
Made by Fritz Hansen
Taking its cue from the willowy branches of a tree, Fritz Hansen's distinctive coat stand is reimagined as a wall-mounted rack, bringing nature - and order - closer to home.
First realized in 1971, the Coat Tree is revised for modern spaces as a wall-mounted coat rack, bold in character yet restrained enough to fit into any setting. Ideal for small or narrow areas, where floor space is limited, the branches are capped with orbs that replace hooks to hold coats, hats, bags and other items that require hanging. The elegant design makes a timeless statement, whether filled with everyday essentials or simply left unadorned.
Constructed from four curved steel tubes, powder coated in light grey or dark blue and assembled at varying heights in a branch-like formation, the iconic design is detailed with tonal end caps for snag-free hanging.
