The essence of traditional Japanese straw tatamis are the inspiration for these dhurries made with 50% New Zealand wool and 50% jute. Hand-loomed in India, the structure and shine of the jute blended with the softness of the wool create a mesmerizing combination.

Tatami rugs are made with 50% New Zealand wool & 50% Jute using a hand loomed technique in the Dhurrie style. Please note that color stability is not ensured when dyeing vegetal fibers and it may result in differenced in jute tones.
