Sleek and graceful, this versatile floor lamp features smart details from head to toe. At the top, its spinning cone diffuser provides direct light that can be repositioned. On the bottom, it is weighted by a stunning white Carrara or black Marquina marble base. Its stem and cone are available in painted steel or brushed brass. The diffuser is injection-molded opal photoengraved PC (polycarbonate). Its power cord measures 102 inches and features a foot dimmer switch with on/off functions and 10-100% light adjustment. The plug-in power supply includes interchangeable plugs.

I purchased the brushed brass version of this lamp about five months ago and put it behind a reading chair in the corner of a 12x12 bedroom that had no other source of light. The lamp itself is very good looking and seems to go with any decor. When I point the shade toward the ceiling, light fills the entire room. When the shade is pointed down, it makes a great reading lamp. The shade rotates a full 360 degrees and clicks into place every 45 degrees. The light it throws is simply gorgeous; it's bright without being harsh, warm without being too yellowish. There is no glare so you can read right next to it without any problems. It also comes with an adjustable dimmer switch. The lamp is shipped in two boxes: one with the lamp and the other with the base. It is very easy to assemble and the base fits perfectly with no wiggle. Now that I have been using the lamp for a while, I can tell you with absolute certainty that it is worth it. It's one of the nicest things I own and I just love it.
