contour led table lamp

Bold, clean lines. Works both as a lamp (the dimmer feature is perfect) and as a stand-alone sculpture.

I placed a simple bud vase in this lamp and set it on an Eames low stool just below a Japanese hanging scroll. The effect is to create a modern tokonoma such as one might encounter in a tea house. Of course, any object one wishes to highlight can be placed in the lamp. The light is not suitable for reading or room illumination and is best employed in a supporting role..

What can I say? The photographs on Hive do it perfect justice. Unique design and functionality make it a conversation piece and a fun/functional addition to my living space. I love the mood it can create when placed a couple feet from the wall. Shadow puppet invitation to place a small statue between it and the wall? I think so. My only wish is that the dimmer (which works great!) went lower. I like to bring the light down to the point where, during daytime, it appears there is no light in it at all. If the dimmer went lower, you could achieve a semblance of this effect in the small hours.
