I am elated to report that I strongly encourage you to purchase this rocking chair! In fact, there are several reasons I recommend it. First, it is important to recognize Hive Modern for making it available at an excellent price (which I purchased on its user-friendly website), for keeping me updated on delivery information, for facilitating an excellent delivery service and finally, for sparing me the majority of administrative nuisances that often accompany buying furniture online. I am always glad that I return to Hive Modern for these reasons. In terms of the chair itself, I am happy to report that the interior red (the version I purchased) is far more engaging in tone and hue, particularly when compared to the image on the website. Specifically, the image on the website appears more orange-red, which is not the case at all, in person. Next, the chair was reasonably secured in its packaging, without requiring a lot of unnecessary waste; you can recycle the entire box that it arrived in. And finally, the rocking chair is an equal balance of kinetic interior and engaging exterior, which complements and activates almost any interior/exterior space. For instance, while the interior pulls your eye toward the object, the matte cream-colored exterior triggers the serenity you seek while pulling you in to comfortably nest within it. Once you do, you can decide whether you simply want to lounge or serenely rock back and forth while you do. For individuals with a bias toward rocking, versus lounging, I will admit that the rocking part requires a minimal work on your part, but I also side with this camp and found myself completely okay with it. As an aside, it has been both, validating and enjoyable to observe that the family members and friends who I least suspected to appreciate the chair, are in fact the individuals who sit on it the most.
