Light, architectural space and natural landscapes are the main elements of this project, based on principles of reduction of energy and materials. Through the dematerialization of volumes and mimetic transparency, and thanks to a slim recycled aluminium structure and methacrylate body, Mimesi does not hinder the vision, but silently integrates with the surrounding environment. When turned on it becomes a central element in the staging of people's lives, highlighting luminous writing on the cortex of the light. An indirect 40W LED light source and a diffused one guarantee double light emission and two different color temperatures. The combination of the controlling circuit and innovative LED technology results in a reduced need for maintaince.

The Artemide light has never been solely a function of seeing, or an opportunity for formal experimentation with lamps as objects. For more than forty years, Artemide has aimed to propose light as a companion to people, as a source of physical pleasure and mental comfort. Artemide has done so, with different work groups, searching through the whole design process, starting with a declaration of values - The human light. Beyond the definition, the human light is intelligent light. A light that knows it has to relate to people, accompanying them in their daily activities.

White Light
Brett, more than a month ago.
This lamp by its self is stunning, but its secondary light mode is what puts it in a league of its own. See there are two light modes. The first is a standard light (can get super bright if you desire). And then you have the white light which provides a dimmer light that serves to illuminate this already beautiful lamp, absolutely nothing else like it.
