logico single wall lamp
from Artemide
logico single wall lamp
Design Michele De Lucchi, 2001
Handblown glass, steel, aluminum
Made in Italy by Artemide
The Logico series originated from the idea of organizing a system of light diffusion: the sophisticated blown glass diffuser is used in different version and its modular shape lends itself to the creation of numerous light compositions. The diffuser is hand blown glass with a unique satin finish. The lower edge of the diffuser is cut with a diamond-edged blade. Concealed wall plate support in silver grey lacquered steel. Logico wall can be mounted downwards or upwards with supplied clip, mounts to standard electrical junction boxes and offers direct and diffused light emission.
Michele De Lucchi was born in 1951 in Ferrara and graduated in architecture in Florence. During the period of radical and experimental architecture he was a prominent figure in movements like Cavart, Alchymia and Memphis. De Lucchi has designed lamps and furniture for well known Italian and European companies. The firm's philosophy is rooted in the search for deep interaction between architectural thinking, industrial design and global communication.
Logico wall is available in a variety of configurations and also as a floor, suspension, ceiling and table lamp.
