What started as a glass factory in Iittala, Finland, now celebrates generations of essential objects that are made to enrich people's everyday lives. Iittala believes objects should be distinctive, combinable and multi-functional, with lasting design that allows for individual use and expression. The progressive philosophy of design heroes, Kaj Franck and Alvar Aalto, still inspires to keep Iittala forever relevant. Iittala creates beautiful objects... timeless design that will never be thrown away.

Breathtaking
Linda, more than a month ago.
Looking at it is enough...even if it's rarely used. Sent as a gift to my daughter in law...she's over the moon.
Stunning

These plates are larger than I expected. And very broad and flat - a large flat center surrounded by a large flat band. This flatness and generous size allows the artwork enough area to spread out for a nice presentation. These plates are currently my new favorite object in the house and I will be sharing their beauty with every visitor I have. The blue one is my favorite.
