taika soup/cereal bowl

I was very excited about the Taika collection and purchased two soup/cereal bowls and two pasta bowls, one of each size in blue and one of each size in white. Upon receiving the bowls, it's apparent that they are sturdy, easy to clean, and that the material is of good quality. However, the design on the bowls, which had so captured my imagination and enthusiasm, turned out to be a somewhat cheap-looking graphic overlay, with visible pixelation in some areas. I purchased these bowls for use, yes, but primarily I wanted to display them because of the fun, whimsical, mythology-invoking design. I'm keeping them, but be aware that the "print" is not up to the highest standards, if you intend to purchase.
