With the growing popularity of more fully furnished outdoor environments, people have begun to look for large, luxurious sofa seating to create outdoor living rooms. Based on the 1966 collection, Swell is a generously proportioned and exceptionally comfortable outdoor lounge collection that does not require cushions.
The Swell collection features a seat and back in woven vinyl coated polyester mesh with solid pure vinyl straps and a welded cast and extruded aluminum frame finished in weather resistant polyester powder coat. The straps, mesh and frame are offered in a variety of color choices. Optional white vinyl fitted outdoor cover is also available.

Richard Schultz
Richard Shultz joined Knoll in 1951 to work with Harry Bertoia. Significant designs over the years include the Petal Table and 1966 series for Knoll.
