With its pop look and spirit, Lipstick is a collection with a very fun, cheerful personality. Its design is inspired by an everyday object: lipstick. This outdoor armchair and coffee table set has a very striking appearance that is ideal for creating a laid-back, bold atmosphere in your outdoor space, with high doses of style.
In particular, the oval shapes of a lipstick are perfectly identifiable in the back of the chair in the Lipstick collection, which has a matching side table with similar cylindrical features. However, the shape of this cult object in the world of cosmetics has been transferred to the design of this outdoor armchair with great ease, insinuating its inspiration without it being too obvious.
José Antonio Gandía-Blasco Canales was born in Ontinyent, Valencia. After studying law at the Valencia University, he joined the family business Gandia Blasco, a blanket manufacturer. After travelling throughout Spain as a business agent, he began to take on more responsibilities which led to reshaping the image of the company. The current logo was created, the silhouette of a graceful kitten, as well as the first reversible design carpet collection, which later received the IMPIVA Award 1990 for innovation. José A. is not only president of the company but also the art director. He has designed a large part of the furniture and textile collections that are being commercialized today.
