Ettore Sottsass

Ettore Sottsass came together with other young designers and architects to form the Memphis Group, and were hailed as innovators of Post-modernism in design and the arts. He inspired generations of architects and designers.
Alessi was founded in 1921 to produce crafted metal accessories for the kitchen. Alberto Alessi launched Alessi into high design through collaborations with designers like Philippe Starck and his Juicy Salif citrus squeezer.
