ArcoBellini Chair
by Mario Bellini from Heller
arcobellini chair
Design Mario & Claudio Bellini, 2001
Fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene with Worry Free Plastics technology
Made in the USA by Heller
With its sweeping angles and gentle curves, the sculptural ArcoBellini Stacking Dining Armchair is a chic, low maintenance chair for outdoor cafes, residential homes, and sophisticated workspaces.
Following the success of his award-winning Bellini Chair designed in 1998, Mario Bellini partnered with his son Claudio to create the ArcoBellini - a modern armchair that's colorful, stackable, and suitable for use indoors or out. Made from a single piece of injection-molded plastic, the ArcoBellini is a durable, generously proportioned dining chair that looks beautiful in a variety of settings. A metal reinforced grommet in the seat allows for water drainage and enables the chair to be secured by a chain when left outside.
Made in USA, this indoor-outdoor chair is stackable up to eight high.
25" w | 21.5" d | 33.5" h | seat: 18" h (stacks up to 8 high)

Mario Bellini
Mario Bellini worked in urban planning as well as product and furniture design. He began as an architect after graduating from Milan Polytechnic. Some notable works are business machines for Olivetti, the "cab" chair for Cassina, furniture for B&B Italia and Vitra. His design work expanded to TV sets for Brionvega, stereos for Yamaha and a 5-year stint as an automobile design consultant for Renault, Fiat and Lancia cars.
Heller has created a simple paradigm: good design, industrial production and reasonable prices. Heller's stacking dinnerware won a Compasso d’Oro award and is included in the MoMA design collection.
