Lighthouse Table Lamp

lighthouse table lamp
Design Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2010
Mouth-blown glass, anodized aluminum, marble
Made by Established & Sons
A sculptural, voluptuous and enchanting object, the Lighthouse combines traditional hand-blown glass with industrially engineered aluminum and pure marble to create an enduring contemporary classic.
An elegant equation of modern and traditional craftsmanship, the Lighthouse balances a traditional mouth blown glass shade on an industrially engineered aluminum arm, weighted by a marble column. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec cleverly draw our attention to the precariousness of the equilibrium while providing a sturdy, sculptural, voluptuous and enchanting light. Impressive and an instant success the Lighthouse now stands in prestigious museum collections and has the potential to become a prized heirloom, handed down to the next generation of collectors.
14.6" diameter | 27.4" h | bulb: integrated LED (2700K / 600 lumens / dimmable)
