Designed in 1945, this service was first produced in chrome-plated and silver-plated heavy brass, and later in stainless steel. The Bombé collection is still one of the most successful tea and coffee sets sold by Alessi and was Carlo Alessi's last design. The Teapot is offered in 18/10 stainless steel, with handle and knob in bakelite or EPSS silver-plated stainless steel with handle and knob in applewood. Also available as coffee pot.

Carlo Alessi
Carlo Alessi was the chief designer of the Alessi company from 1935 until the early 80s. Carlo designed many of the notable Alessi pieces, including the “Bombe” series. By the 1950s, he became managing director and moved the company from manufacturing crafted eating and drinking products into welcoming external designers from all over the world
Alessi was founded in 1921 to produce crafted metal accessories for the kitchen. Alberto Alessi launched Alessi into high design through collaborations with designers like Philippe Starck and his Juicy Salif citrus squeezer.
