The Braun digital table clock collection was designed in 2012 under the direction of Markus Orthey, senior designer with Braun and Gillette in Germany. The clock keeps with the minimalist design of Braun's "less is more" ideology. A small yet versatile clock that can travel well or used around the home.
The Braun BNC008 clocks features rounded corners with a scratch-resistant easy to read reverse LCD display. Includes a patented high visibility backlight and a snooze function. The clock has a quick set function for easy use and can be set to 12 or 24 hour mode. Duracell battery included. 2 year warranty. This clock won the Red dot award for product design 2012. This US version does not have radio controlled movement. Available in black.

Dieter Rams
German industrial designer Dieter Rams (b. 1932) studied architecture and interior decoration at Wiesbaden School of Art, in addition to holding a carpentry apprenticeship. In 1955, he was recruited to Braun as an architect and an interior designer and served as chief of design there from 1961-97. He continues to be highly regarded in design circles and currently has a major retrospective of his work on tour around the world.
