Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands and graduated cum laude from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. His fame started with the iconic Knotted Chair in 1996. He is now designing for the biggest European contemporary design manufacturers including Moooi of which he is also art director and co-owner. He works on architectural, interior design and consumer home appliances. His designs have been selected for the most important design collections and exhibitions around the world.
The Love sofa features a metal frame covered in molded foam and accented with ash wood legs. It is offered in your choice of leg and upholstery options. The Love sofa will be entirely upholstered with the selected fabric. The Love sofa includes the three back pillows as pictured. It can also be specified with a composition which is boucle combined with divina upholstery, as shown in images. These options, as well as the high back version can be specified by calling the hive showroom.

Marcel Wanders
Marcel Wanders first drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by the Dutch design brand Droog. The Knotted Chair has since been acquired by the permanent collection of the MoMA.
Moooi is named for the Dutch word "beautiful". The third 'O' in the name stands for extra value in beauty. Moooi has produced work from Bertjan Pot, Maarten Baas and Studio Job. Marcel Wanders is responsible for the overall design process.
