Design Joan Gaspar, 2010
Cotton shade, Blown glass structure, opal diffuser disk
Made in Spain by Marset
The ceiling model of the Mercer lamp joins this family of lighting fixtures that stand out for their subtle reversal of roles: The cloth shade is inside a structure of transparent blown glass. The glass delicately protects the shade in natural pleated cotton or in a sophisticated pearl white fabric, at the same time as producing additional reflections. The aim of this lamp is to give the ceiling of a room a delicate warm glow while providing generous light.
Mercer ceiling lamp features a cotton shade that floats inside a transparent blown glass structure and includes an opal diffuser disk on the lower part. UL listed, dry locations only. It is recommended that this lamp be hardwired to a standard electric junction box by a licensed electrician.
6.9" h | 17.3" dia | shade: 6" h | base: 5.5" dia.
requires 2, E26 type A 11W
