A series of lights inspired by the sculptural simplicity of brass cooking pots and traditional water vessels on the subcontinent. The Beat lights are spun and hand-beaten by renowned skilled craftsmen of Moradabad in Northern India. The series of pendants include four shapes and sizes and each feature a spun brass shade with either a black, white glossy or grey powder-coat or brushed brass exterior and hand-beaten interior in brass (black, white & brass) or silver plated interior (grey). Beat pendants are offered with either a corresponding black fabric (black, grey or brass) or white cable cord and black (black, grey & brass) or white (white) ceiling rose.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon is a self-taught British designer. His career began when he discovered pleasure in welding while repairing damaged motorcycle frames after having been forced to leave his disco-punk band 'Funkapolitan' when he broke his leg in a motorcycle accident. He holds an Honorary Doctorate from Birmingham City University. He lives in London with his wife and two daughters and is often seen with his blind and deaf poodle, Molly.
