Marble. Just to think of the millions of years, unimaginable pressures and heat involved in the creation of these beautiful rocks. This hard, semi-precious surface which bears a unique fingerprint has transfixed architects, sculptors and designers for millennia. It is the dream material - tough yet tactile, heavy and long-lasting with individual personality. We have used white marble for delicate lamps, sturdy chopping boards and elegant candle holders.
A play on the original Tom Dixon Stone Spice Grinder, this pendant light comprises a halo hollowed from white Morwad marble with a central 'floating' ball. The stone is cut to the thinnest possible depth, so it appears to be semi-transluscent, emphasizing its patterned surface. The Stone Pendant Light has a neat, black chord. Available in pendant, table and wall light versions.
This year, the Stone family receives an upgrade with a new Tom Dixon LED module. The LED module offers three key benefits - longer life expectancy, energy efficiency and improved performance including dimmability and light control. Our integrated LED module is fully serviceable and replacement components and individual drivers are available if needed.
