radii dining table

Design Niels Bendtsen
Solid white oak or American walnut, steel
Made in Italy by Bensen

Radii is a solid wood dining table with subtle detailing that lends refinement to its simple appearance. The design is defined by thin bevelled edges that cleverly flow through radius cuts to blend with the thick legs. This sculptural detail gives visual lightness to the top while emphasizing the mass and durability of the legs.

Concealed metal plates provide a seamless and ridged connection between the top and legs, and solid steel support bars inset in the top eliminate any potential for wood movement. The matte open-grain finish gives the wood a natural appearance, yet is velvety smooth to touch and fully protects to the wood from moisture and debris.

Radii is finished with an advanced slow build water-based polyurethane that gives the wood a natural open-grain appearance, while providing maximum durability and longevity. Available in three sizes in your choice of solid White Oak or American Walnut. Assembly required.

Radii 200: 78.75" L | 35.5" d | 28.5" h | distance between legs: 66.25"
Radii 240: 94.5" L | 37.5" d | 28.5" h | distance between legs: 82"
Radii 280: 110.25" L | 39.5" d | 28.5" h | distance between legs: 97.75"

Niels Bendtsen

Bendtsen gained valuable skills and a respect for hand-built traditions as an apprentice, and was intrigued by new technologies. Between 1963 and 1972, Bendtsen had his own retail store where he sold imported Scandinavian designs. He designed small items for the store, but it wasn't until he was in his early thirties that he truly began designing furniture.
The Bensen philosophy balances simplicity and honesty. Designer Niels Bendtsen trained as an apprentice with his father building Scandinavian furniture and gained skills & respect for hand built traditions.
