The decoration on the side table can be for playing games. A table for past time, rivalry and cleverness. The Chess table features various woods with an internal steel frame, painted black & white and finished in high gloss lacquer. The table has a polished stainless steel branding plate mounted under the table top.
Front started in 2003 by a design group of four. All members are involved in the design process from initial discussions and ideas to final product. Their works are based on common discussions, exploring and investigations about different topics. And the final products often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, conventions within the product field or the material it is made of.

Moooi is named for the Dutch word for 'beautiful'. The third 'O' in the name stands for extra value in beauty. The Moooi design process is lead by Marcel Wanders in collaboration with other notable designers.
