David Chipperfield was born in London in 1953 and he obtained his Architecture Degree in 1977. In 1984 he founded the David Chipperfield Architects firm. With branches in London and Berlin, the firm is a multi-language and multi-cultural center. The 90 people who work for the firm come from 16 different countries and speak more than 22 different languages; a very important diversity to have because this multifaceted reality helps to constantly widen the procedural vision "from the inside".
