jack light
Design Tom Dixon, 1994 (updated 2026)
Rotationally molded polyethylene
Made by Tom Dixon
JACK is back! JACK is a playful portable light designed for effortless indoor and outdoor use. Lightweight, stackable and easy to move, it's made from durable polyethylene using an air rotation-molding process making it lightweight and dynamic.
Designed by Tom Dixon for his company Eurolounge in 1994, it was originally roto-molded using a homemade six-part tool assembled from modified metal bowls. It was one of Tom Dixon's earliest experiments with rotational molding and the first product manufactured for Eurolounge. Jack received the Millennium Mark Award in 1997.
The matte white shade creates a soft, diffused glow from an integrated and replaceable 5W LED, delivering warm 2700K light. A dimmer allows smooth, continuous brightness control, while a remote can pair and control up to three lights. Rechargeable via USB-C, JACK provides up to 8 hours of light. Fully IP65 rated, it's built for outdoor use and long-term durability, with replaceable components to reduce waste.
23" diameter | 20.5" h | light source: integrated 5W LED (500 lumens / 2700K / IP65)
