The Torch Light Bunch forms a contemporary chandelier in arranged clusters of 5 and 10 lights. Torch combines a tactile, molded silicone shade with a diamond-textured diffuser (a reference to car headlights) and a brightly colored cable.
Sylvain Willenz founded his multi-disciplinary design office in Brussels in 2004, after seven years of living in London and graduating from the Royal College of Art. His early collections explored the possibilities of natural rubber, and Willenz has continued to investigate the potential of new materials and manufacturing techniques. Willenz's work is often inspired by archetypal objects and the simplicity and familiarity with which they are associated, interpreting these forms and qualities in new designs. His studio focuses on products and furniture, as well as installation and exhibition design and creative direction. In 2009, his Torch Light series for Established & Sons won Best in Lighting and Overall Best Product of the Year at the UK Grand Designs Awards.
