Lantern is an original portable LED, transparent, chargeable, injection moulded lamp that is now made of recycled PMMA. New design features the charging base integrated into the Lantern as a single piece with improved battery life (10 hours on the brightest setting or up to 200 hours on the lowest setting).
"Ever since my student days, I have been taught that when we design, we do it with other people in mind, but this time I have failed: this lantern is for me. Midway upon the journey of our life I too got lost and felt the need for something to light my way. A lantern, like those of olden times, simple, hardwearing, and resistant. An object to accompany me in my wanderings, a glimmer of light to follow in the gloom. Each personal story reflects a collective sensation: it would be marvelous if this small lantern could help us face the darkness and find our way. Under the leadership of Fabio Novembre, Novembre Studio has been working in the field of architecture and interior design for 30 years. Works include buildings for large private institutions, hotels, retail systems, and residential interventions, for some of the best-known brands such as MediaMarkt, Ac Milan, Stuart Weitzman, Una Hotel, and Generali Assicurazioni. Underlying the firm's poetics is the idea that architecture is a tool for telling three-dimensional stories in which people can become actors. Thanks to the founder's visionary approach and highly recognizable sign, Novembre Studio's projects are published all over the world.
