Named after Festa della Rificolona (Festival of the Paper Lanterns) in Italy. The shade is reminiscent of the paper shades being carried by festival goers.
Rificolona Pendant arrives hanging by a thread, to share a playful and creative spirit embodied by its materials: the shade, crafted mainly from recycled polyethylene, rotates in dialogue with the light, its density modified with a transparent spray. Rificolona delicately hovers over the elements in your living space, tilting according to necessity or the light desired at any given time of day.
Founded in 2012 by Gaia Giotti and Jonah Scarselli, E-ggs is concerned with the design of a transversal approach, ranging from product design, interior and architecture. The attention and the curiosity are captured by the discovery of the unusual in everyday life, in the search for new forms of expression and materials. It is the exploration of the needs of everyday ideas that arise for ideas. In Florence E-GGS is located in a laboratory that integrates experimental and creative skills of different professions.
Rificolona features a dual cable system that lets you adjust the tilt angle with a simple gesture.
