Hive suspension light features direct downward light and layered shades diffusing the light throughout the surroundings. The layered shades also conceal the light source. Hive has a very characteristic and sculptural quality in the style of Panton's designs.
The shades are formed in aluminum and available in polished or powder-coated yellow. Includes black fabric cord and ceiling canopy in the same color/finish as the lamp.

Verner Panton
Panton created futuristic designs in vibrant colors and materials. In 1953 Panton converted a VW bus into a studio and travelled Europe and returned to Denmark full of Design ideas.
