The eye-catching, high-gloss lacquer Caravaggio™ pendants were launched in 2005 and instantaneously gained a status as a design icon. With Caravaggio, designer Cecilie Manz combines a recognizable shape with a modern expression. The simple, timeless pendant consists of a metal shade with soft, feminine lines and a chrome-plated suspension with a more masculine expression. The textile cable is particularly well integrated into the design and gives the lamp its finishing touch. The Caravaggio lamp casts a concentrated downward light illuminating both the suspension and the cable through a hole at the top of the lamp. The depth of the shade prevents glare.
The Caravaggio high-gloss pendants include a white ceiling canopy. The white pendants include a grey textile cord and the black pendants include a red textile cord.

Cecilie Manz
Cecilie Manz was admitted to the Danish Design School in Copenhagen and went to Helsinki as an exchange student, studying at the Finnish School of Art and Design. She founded her own Manz Lab in 1998.
Fritz Hansen is part of Danish design history and characterized by unique design and premium quality. Designers Arne Jacobsen & Poul Kjaerholm have contributed beautifully shaped designs, innovative techniques and new materials.
