"Good furniture will draw you in - appealing first to the eye, then to the soul. That's what I want to achieve with my design." -Hans Sandgren Jakobsen
The Gallery stool was a major design breakthrough when it was launched in 1998. With striking simplicity, the properties of molded plywood are pushed to the maximum limit to form a sculptural seating object.
For the Gallery stool, Sandren Jakobsen received several international design awards, most notably the 2000 Good Design Award in Japan, The 1998 Forsnas Prize, Sweden, and the 1998 Architectural Review Award for Product Excellence at Spectrum, UK.
18.9" h | 20.5" w | 14.2" d | 8.8 lbs.
