"Leaf successfully combines a light and elegant design with energy-efficient LED technology. Though the design is minimalistic and straightforward, a soft asymmetric geometry gives the lamp an organic and friendly appearance. Depending on the viewing angle and how the shade is turned, the lamp will subtly transform it's shape to create a graphic and leaf-like silhouette in the room."
With an ultra-thin body and subtly-curved LED head, the Leaf floor lamp brings a gentle light to any space. Available in four colors, the lamp is a poetic addition to your office, home or commercial setting. The light can be dimmed to accustom the atmosphere of the room.
Broberg & Ridderstrale are Swedish design and architectural partners. Their work combines aesthetic rationality with a touch of humor and wit. Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstrale have both graduated from Konstfack University of Design with honors and have been awarded the Swedish Art Council's working grant. Their work has successfully been exhibited in Tokyo, Milan, and London.
The Leaf floor lamp is a result of a process combining turned and casted aluminum and steel, with a strong powder coating as paint. It has a built-in energy-efficient LED bulb with a lumen Maintenance (lifetime) of L90 BIO 35,000 hours.
