Great updates on the classic Moka Pot. Same basic machine that yields the standard delicious Moka-style strong coffee... but with more beauty and more function. What's not to love? The new Moka lives on my counter with my other beautiful coffee machines rather than hiding in a cupboard where the classic resided. Is classic Moka jealous of new Moka? Absoultely.

While I respect the traditional makers and design (I have used one for many years), this moka pot is superior. In my experience, it's better in the following ways: slightly larger size makes for easier prep (water & coffee fill), improved sealing with no leaks during brew, handle doesn't get hot, less likely to have drips with the spout design, and lastly, cleanup is a snap! In terms of form, it's also better. It's very elegant with clean, modern lines.
