The design partnership with Herzog & de Meuron continues to follow the development of their architectural designs, which often offer opportunities to think about developing new lighting solutions. In multiple projects designed with the firm Herzog & de Meuron, including the Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan as the latest, the Unterlinden has conveyed its versatility through a variety of special versions. It is a suspension lamp that ensures excellent, non-glaring illumination of the working area.
The trumpet-shaped lamp head is die-cast from aluminum or brass and serves as a diffuser for the high-power LED illuminant. While the outside of the pendant lamp is left raw and shows traces of the machining process, the concave surface is highly polished.
