Ole Wanscher's Beak Chair was designed in 1951 and represents his outstanding sense of craftsmanship and design. Details such as the distinctive beak-like armrests that inspired the chair's nickname demand exquisite materials and exemplary craftsmanship.
Wanscher's sense for subtle detailing is also expressed in the discreet cover caps on the side of the armrests, reminiscent of a bird's eye. The lounge chair's soft, curved elements seamlessly join one another in a light, organic flow.
The Beak Chair, OW124, is available in oak and walnut with upholstery in either leather or fabric, which can be mixed and matched to suit both modern and classic interiors. The cover cap in the armrests always comes in contrast wood (oak or walnut). Oak painted black has a matching black cover cap.
