andes leather - Knoll (V)
Spinneybeck
Aniline dyed leather
Andes is a natural, chromium tanned, aniline dyed, upholstery leather with a lightly enhanced grain texture. The selection of hides used to produce Andes originates from northern Italy, southern Germany, and Switzerland. The light enhancement process refines the surface of the leather without penetrating the dermis of the hide. The combination of the lightweight material, refined enhanced grain texture, and special ironing process contribute to its suppleness and smoothness. This enhanced grain leather closely approximates the luxurious hand of Sabrina for price-sensitive projects.

sabrina leather - Knoll (W)
Spinneybeck
Aniline dyed leather
The matte finish and extended color range of Sabrina makes it an elegant, fine-grained leather for contract use. These regions provide some of the world’s finest selection of raw material which is available in limited quantities. The unique retannage of Sabrina completes the enrichment of the leather and provides a smooth, tight grain and suppleness of hand. From subtle neutrals to saturated colors, the high quality dyes provide excellent lightfastness and allow a greater saturation and dye enrichment than ordinary upholstery leathers.
